9 #. VPP PERFORMANCE TESTS
11 - **Reduction of tests**: Removed certain test variations executed
12 iteratively for the report (as well as in daily and weekly
13 trending) due to physical testbeds overload.
17 - **Removed ASTF PPS tests**: They provide no real benefit
18 compared to TPUT tests. The ip4base variants renamed to TPUT.
20 - **Changed TCP TPUT profiles**: The previous ones were found to be faulty.
21 The new ones do not use bursts of packets to avoid CSIT-1830 and CSIT-1846.
23 - **CSIT test environment** version has been updated to ver. 10, see
24 :ref:`test_environment_versioning`.
26 - **CSIT PAPI support**: Due to issues with PAPI performance, and
27 deprecation of VAT, VPP CLI is used in CSIT for many VPP scale
28 tests. See :ref:`vpp_known_issues`.
